Welcome to Nursery. We are Droplets class.
The Nursery teachers are: Mrs Maughan-Strickler (Mon-Wed) and Mrs Pullinger (Wed-Fri).
Supported by Ms Davenport and Miss Hirst.
In our play based setting we learn all about ourselves, how to be independent and how to get ready for ‘big school’. We explore different areas of learning through these topics:
Who can help me? We find out about lots of different jobs that can help people and meet lots of people who help us.
Why are there so many leaves on the ground? We will find out about all the changes in Autumn and some of the Autumn celebrations too.
Why did the dinosaurs become extinct? We find out what dinosaurs looked like and how big they were.
What has paws, claws, and whiskers? From pets at home to animals in the zoo we find out what animals like to eat and where they like to sleep.
Where does food come from? We visit the allotment, grow some food ourselves, and make some healthy dishes.
Where will our travels take us? We will find out about transport, travel and places near and far!
